Craig Dawson ‘very close to triggering £2m clause to make West Ham move permanent’ according to manager David Moyes who insists he is ‘worthy’ of new deal

David Moyes says 'there is a good chance' Craig Dawson will trigger the £2million clause to make his move to West Ham permanent.

Moyes - who signed Dawson on a season-long loan in October - has revealed that there is a clause in the player's loan agreement which states that the deal will be made permanent once a certain number of appearances are made.

The Hammers boss says Dawson is 'very close to that number' and insists he is 'worthy' of a permanent deal at the club as his 'experience' and 'goals' have been 'really important' this season.
