Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp has opposed the idea of playing Premier Soccer League (PSL) matches behind closed doors following the outbreak of the coronavirus.
The Amakhosi mentor saw their encounter set for Wednesday night against Bidvest Wits cancelled following a decision by the PSL chairman Irvin Khoza on Monday.
With the South African Football (Safa) president Danny Jordaan also calling for the postponement of games at least until April 4, many await the outcome of the PSL Board of Governors meeting scheduled for Thursday.
