The City captain walked straight off the pitch after Swansea City pulled a goal back in stoppage time of their 2-1 defeat in the EFL Cup, sparking fears of yet another injury.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says he is waiting to discover the extent of Vincent Kompany's latest setback, although Gael Clichy insists his teammate is OK.
Kompany made his first City appearance since limping out of the Champions League semifinal against Real Madrid in May when as the Blues beat Swansea City 2-1 in the EFL Cup.
But he left the pitch immediately after Gyfli Sigurdsson pulled one back for the Swans in stoppage time, sparking fears that he has suffered yet another injury.
