Claudio Ranieri insists his relationship with Leonardo Ulloa is unaffected by the Argentine striker’s agent calling him a liar – but reasserted only the right price will see Leicester accept a bid.
Ulloa has handed in a transfer request after starting just one Premier League game this season and his representative Horacio Rossi went public with his anger after Ranieri said the 30-year-old would be staying.
Ranieri held clear-the-air talks with Ulloa on Wednesday and at his press conference on Thursday side-stepped a direct response to Rossi. Leicester rejected a bid of £1.7million from Alaves as derisory and value Ulloa at more than £10m.
