The busy festive schedule may have taken its toll on Huddersfield defender Christopher Schindler on Wednesday night.
The German centre-back was sent off for two bookable offences as the bottom side in the Premier League slipped to another defeat.
But the 28-year-old, playing his fourth game in 12 days, appeared to not understand why referee Mike Dean had given him his marching orders.
As he walked towards the tunnel he was deep in conversation with fourth official Michael Oliver, who appeared to point out to Schindler that he was already on a yellow card.
