Christian Benteke insists brother Jonathan is in the Crystal Palace team on merit after Premier League debut

Christian Benteke believes his brother Jonathan is involved at Crystal Palace because he deserves it, not because he is his sibling.

Benteke junior moved to Selhurst Park this summer from Belgian side Zulte Waregem and went on to make his Premier League debut against Middlesbrough on Saturday.

The older Benteke was substituted off for his sibling after the Belgium international scored his first goal for Palace.
