Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic is close to agreeing a three-and-a half year deal with Zenit St Petersburg.
The Russians have moved for the 32-year-old with Nicolas Lombaerts, 31, in talks to join West Bromwich Albion for £5million.
Ivanovic will be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge on a free transfer and will make a final decision on Monday.
Furthermore, Chelsea are continuing to negotiate over a new goalkeeper, though deals for Celtic's Craig Gordon or David Stockdale at Brighton are proving difficult.
