Alvaro Morata began speaking with Antonio Conte about a possible move to Chelsea last spring, and as soon as he was aware of the Italian's interest he leaped at the chance to work under him for a second time.
Morata, who joined the Blues for a £70.6million fee including add-ons in the summer, had served under Conte during his time at Juventus and says he owes plenty to the Stamford Bridge boss.
Therefore, when it became apparent that Conte wanted him to move to London, the striker didn't hesitate to commit.
