A number of Chelsea players were able to briefly escape reality this week as they took part in the 3D head scanning process for the highly-anticipated FIFA 19 video game.
The game's millions of players around the world rely on the life-like scans generated by developers EA to give the title an immersive sense of reality.
First-team stars Eden Hazard, Alvaro Morata and Thibaut Courtois were among those filmed sitting down in front of the video game company's vast array of 3D cameras.

In a video posted by Chelsea TV, players were asked to display various emotions ranging from a smile to anger in a bid to capture all of the emotions experienced on a pitch.
