The Blues defensive duo have been to see the Hull City midfielder after he suffered a fractured skull in his side's 2-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge
Gary Cahill, John Terry and Chelsea coach Steve Holland visited Ryan Mason in hospital after the midfielder suffered a fractured skull during Hull City's 2-0 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Hull City have confirmed Mason is in a "stable condition" after suffering the injury in a collision with Cahill - a coming together which resulted in an eight-minute stoppage during the first half.
Medical staff provided treatment on the pitch before sending the former Tottenham midfielder to St Mary’s Hospital in London, with Hull releasing a statement on Monday revealing Mason is now speaking after undergoing surgery.
