Thibaut Courtois has rushed to the defence of dropped Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo, believing that the Chilean has become a victim of Pep Guadiola's obsession with possession football.
Bravo, who was taken out the firing line by Guardiola having failed to register a save since City's 2-1 victory over Burnley on January 2, is expected to once again be on the bench for the visit of Swansea to the Etihad on Sunday.
But Courtois is in no doubt that Bravo remains a top-quality goalkeeper, with the Chelsea No 1 adamant he will emerge from a difficult period to remind critics of his qualities.
