Chelsea loan midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko to AC Milan again as Serie A contenders seal two-year deal

AC Milan have signed midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea on a two-year loan with an option to make the move permanent, the clubs said on Monday.

Bakayoko posed in Milan colours and signed his name on a chalkboard after rejoining the Serie A giants, having made 42 appearances in all competitions for them during the 2018/19 season.

The 27-year-old Frenchman moved to Chelsea in 2017 but failed to establish himself as a first-team regular.

Bakayoko, who was capped by France in 2017 after being called up when Paul Pogba suffered an injury, has spent much of his time out on loan, including the last two seasons at Monaco and Napoli respectively.
