Chelsea in talks with West Ham United over potential ground share while Stamford Bridge is redeveloped

Chelsea are in talks over a potential ground share with rivals West Ham United if their preferred option of Wembley falls through as they prepare to move out of the soon to be renovated Stamford Bridge.

The London Stadium, built for the 2012 Olympics and now used by the Hammers as their home ground, could be used by the Blues while they leave their home for three years to allow it to be rebuilt.

It is understood Chelsea still prefer Wembley, but if they are unable to reach an agreement with the FA - particularly due to the awkwardness of Tottenham Hotspur also potentially using the national stadium at the same time while White Hart Lane is developed - means they are seeking potential alternatives.
