The former Chelsea midfielder was at the centre of a mass brawl during Shanghai SIPG's match against Guangzhou R&F but his punishment is up in the air
The Chinese Football Association (CFA) has written to FIFA, asking for advice on how best to punish former Chelsea midfielder Oscar.
The Shanghai SIPG playmaker was at the centre of controversy last weekend, as he appeared to deliberately smash the ball directly into two Guangzhou R&F players, sparking a mass brawl.
Two players were sent off in the ensuing chaos, but the CFA remain split on whether to charge Oscar for alleged violent conduct after a disciplinary hearing on Wednesday, despite a growing public outcry.
