Gerard Deulofeu scored a stunning hat-trick to earn five-star Watford victory over Cardiff at the Principality Stadium.
Captain Troy Deeney scored two more in the second half either side of Sol Bamba's scrambled consolation goal for Cardiff.
The result moves Watford up to eighth while Cardiff stand just a place and a point above the relegation zone.
