Callum Wilson celebrated scoring the opening goal as Newcastle thrashed West Ham 5-1 at the London Stadium with a classic 90s dance move: the Macarena.

But the celebration - Wilson's first of the night after he got on the scoresheet for the second time 40 minutes later - was more than a moment of spontaneity, and had in fact been nine months in the making.

The Newcastle striker had been tasked with the goal celebration by his podcast co-host, West Ham's Michail Antonio, on an episode of The Footballer's Football Podcast which aired in August 2022.
