Sean Dyche has criticised the short-term nature of modern football, saying cravings for instant success blinds fans and owners to the improvements being made behind the scenes at football clubs across the country.
Dyche has enjoyed a prolific spell as manager of Burnley where, following his appointment in 2012, the gravel-voiced 45-year-old has led the Clarets to two promotions to the Premier League.
But life at Turf Moor wasn't always rosy for the 45-year-old. In the first few months of his tenure, among a series of inconsistent results, he recalls a backlash against his leadership from the stands.
