Bruno Fernandes has been named Premier League Player of the Month for November, putting him just one accolade behind Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo.
Fernandes has been a revelation since signing from Sporting Lisbon in late January, and in his 11 months at Old Trafford he has already been named Premier League Player of the Month a remarkable three times.
During his blistering spell in English football Ronaldo was awarded the honour on four occasions, meaning Fernandes is rapidly closing in on his record achievement.
The Portuguese midfielder was handed the award on Friday at United's Carrington training base, as the club prepare to face local rivals Manchester City.
