Brighton striker Alireza Jahanbakhsh has reportedly made a donation of £6,000 to help his home town in their fight against coronavirus.
The Iran international grew up in poverty-stricken Qazvin and began his journey to professional football by playing for local teams in the area.
Despite now playing his trade in the Premier League, Jahanbakhsh has not forgotten his roots according to The Sun.

The forward, who has 50 caps for his country, is said to have given a billion rials - the equivalent of around £6,000 - to his local area.
