Brighton 1-0 Tottenham: Leandro Trossard strikes early to cap off miserable week for Jose Mourinho's below-par side and pull soaring Seagulls further clear of the drop zone

Brighton stunned Tottenham and capped off a truly miserable week for Jose Mourinho after Leandro Trossard's early winner at the Amex.

Trossard was teed up inside the box after Pascal Gross and Alexis Mac Allister combined sharply, and kept his composure to bury with aplomb inside Hugo Lloris' near post.

Jose Mourinho threw on a host of attacking changes after the break, and Robert Sanchez was twice forced into action to prevent substitute Carlos Vinicius from hauling Tottenham back on level terms.
