Brentford have opened contract talks with Thomas Frank with the Bees set to discuss new terms with the Danish coach just nine months after he signed his last contract extension

Brentford have opened talks with manager Thomas Frank over a new deal – just nine months after the Dane signed his last contract extension.

In January, Frank committed himself to Brentford until 2025 but the club are now discussing new terms amid possible interest from elsewhere.

Sportsmail has been told that no agreement has been reached with the 49-year-old, who led Brentford to the Premier League and currently has them sitting in the top half of the table.
