Ivan Toney will start for Brentford agaisnt Nottingham Forest in the Bees' next Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon, and wear the captain's armband.
The player was cleared to return to competitive action on January 17 after the conclusion of his eight-month ban by the FA for illegal gambling breaches.
His manager Thomas Frank confirmed the news on Friday, and claimed that Toney was champing at the bit to feature again in the English top flight.
'He's buzzing,' Frank said of his player. 'He's like an eight-year-old boy, just wants to go out and play his first football game.
