Bournemouth have agreed a £25m deal to sign Bristol City starlet Alex Scott, beating Premier League rivals Wolves to his signature.
The 19-year-old had an impressive campaign at Ashton Gate last season, making 42 league appearances.
He won the Championship young player of the year award last season and was one of the most coveted talents outside the Premier League.
The Robins had turned down a £22m bid from Wolves earlier in the window and remained adamant that they had no intention of selling the exciting prospect.
But the Cherries offer proved too good to ignore and will see the midfielder become the club's second promising addition in short order.
