Football Kenya Federation has suffered a blow as the Sports Disputes Tribunal (SDT) has reinstated Premier League side Zoo FC after their expulsion.
Zoo and Mathare United had been expelled from the league after they failed to endorse the StarTimes broadcasting deal. The Kericho side moved to the tribunal seeking temporary orders on FKF to fix them in the 2020-21 programme and to afford them all its rights.
“That this application be and is hereby certified urgent and be considered ex-parte, inter partes, in the first instance due to the urgent nature of the reliefs sought,” part of the SDT letter staying FKF decision read, as obtained by Goal.
