Barcelona are 'awaiting the final signing' to seal a deal for Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen on a free transfer in summer after negotiating a deal 'for months', according to reports in Spain.
Christensen's contract at Stamford Bridge expires in summer and it is looking increasingly likely that the defender will leave Chelsea after a decade at the club.
Little progress has been made over negotiations between the player and the west London club, while a host of clubs, including Barcelona and Bayern Munich, were reported to be interested.
The Blaugrana have been pursuing the Denmark international since last summer after the club approached him to enquire about his availability on a free transfer, according to Spanish outlet SPORT.
