Avram Glazer 'refuses to apologise to Manchester United fans over the European Super League saga' just days after his brother Joel admitted the Red Devils owners 'need to better communicate' with the supporters

Avram Glazer has refused to apologise to Manchester United fans for his role in signing them up for the European Super League, according to reports.

The billionaire American businessman holds a majority ownership stake at the Premier League giants along with his brother Joel, but Avram is believed to be the leading force in the running of the club.

Joel Glazer, who was one of the Super League's vice-chairmen, put out a statement to United supporters apologising for the incident and insisted that the club's owners 'need to better communicate with you (the fans)'.
