Atletico Madrid are in talks with Chelsea over a potential January deal for striker Alvaro Morata.
The Spaniard is out of favour at Stamford Bridge and has been linked with a move away from the Premier League in this window.
After Sevilla pulled out of a deal on Monday, Diego Simeone has now moved to land Morata and bolster his attacking options going into the rest of the season.
According to The Sun, a fee is yet to be finalised between the two clubs but any deal is expected to be a permanent one instead of a loan move.
