Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has blamed the club's players for their current predicament, rather than manager Mikel Arteta.

Frimpong, a former team-mate of Arteta, retired from football in March 2019 after a series of injuries.

Arteta's Arsenal have started the season poorly and are currently languishing in 15th in the Premier League, just four points off 18th-placed Fulham in the relegation zone.
