Arsenal hope to confirm the £50million signing of Ben White from Brighton with the defender undergoing a medical this weekend.
The 23-year-old has been in Mykonos enjoying a short holiday following the conclusion of England's Euro 2020 campaign, before he returns home to complete his north London move.
White was a last-minute call-up to Gareth Southgate's squad, though did not feature during the run to the final.
With William Saliba sent out on loan again and David Luiz leaving the club during the summer after his contract expired, Arsenal moved to bolster their ranks at the centre of defence.
