The Gunners skipper believes the potential is there for Arsene Wenger's side to be "resolute", but feels they have not shown those qualities enough
Per Mertesacker believes “defensive discipline” has been lacking at Arsenal this season, despite the potential being there for Arsene Wenger’s side to be “resolute”.
The Gunners returned to winning ways over the weekend, with a clean sheet secured in a 2-0 victory over Hull City.

Wenger had seen his side suffer back-to-back defeats in the Premier League against Watford and Chelsea before getting back on track.
