Arsenal will explore the option of keeping Martin Odegaard at the Emirates Stadium next season.
Mikel Arteta has been impressed with the midfielder since his arrival on loan from Real Madrid in January.
In a dream week for Odegaard, he scored his first goal for the club in last Thursday’s win over Olympiacos and followed that up with another in the win against Tottenham on Sunday.
He was also named captain of the Norway national team.
Arsenal are open to keeping Odegaard for the 2021-22 campaign — either on another loan or a permanent deal — and will open discussions with Real Madrid at the end of the season.
