Arsenal have reportedly had a £42.5million opening bid for Manchester City's Brazil star Gabriel Jesus rejected.
However City have made their position on Jesus very clear. They are prepared to sell him, but only for £51m, according to GOAL.com, and Arsenal have so far been unwilling to pay that.
Jesus is supposedly not interested in a switch to the Gunners after they failed to qualify for the Champions League this season, and European Champions Real Madrid are now rumoured to be interested after failing to land Kylian Mbappe.
