Arsenal and Middlesbrough confirm loan move for Folarin Balogun, as England Under-21 striker joins Brighton's Aaron Connolly in January switch to the Riverside

Arsenal and Middlesbrough have agreed a deal for Folarin Balogun to spend the rest of the season at the Riverside.

The England U-21 striker is due in Middlesbrough this week to complete a short-term loan switch once he comes out of Covid isolation, becoming Middlesbrough's second signing of the window.

Sportsmail understands, the two clubs have reached an agreement over terms of the straight loan deal including the Championship side agreeing to cover a portion of Balogun’s wages.
