The High Court has issued a 'blocking order' that will shut off the internet of people who are illegally streaming Premier League football matches.

Dubbed the 'biggest ever crackdown' on illegal streaming, the block will be in place for the entire 2017 - 2018 Premier League season.

The order will help the league intensify its crackdown on the illicit use of pre-loaded Kodi boxes and other illegal devices.

Blank boxes can be bought from most major retailers for as little as £20 ($24), with the software uploaded afterwards.
