We see players already on a yellow card get away with diving, which is a yellow card offence, because referees don’t want to send them off – even though it’s within the law to do so. Criches1984, Walsall.
Don’t you think, though, Criches, that this is because simulation is so hard to judge, and referees don’t want to risk handing out the ultimate punishment only to then later find they are wrong?
