That is exactly what the incoming Italian, who may well have his hands on the Premier League trophy on Friday night, did when he took his new charges to the stunning banks of Lake Worthersee in the sunny south of Austria, for a training camp.
Conte knows. He knew that the players, keen to make an impression and exhausted after daily double training sessions in serious heat, would muster the strength only to stroll to coffee shops to watch the sun set over the water.
