Glenn Hoddle thinks Antonio Conte has joined Tottenham at an 'awkward time' and worries the Italian manager will struggle to implement his tactics as a result.
Conte was appointed as the new Tottenham boss after Daniel Levy sacked Nuno Espirito Santo following their dismal 3-0 defeat to Manchester United last week.
The 52-year-old secured his first victory when Spurs faced Vitesse in the Europa League on Thursday night. But now, Conte has just two days to prepare for their clash against Everton.
Tottenham are due to take on Everton in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon at Goodison Park.
