West Ham players were put through their paces ahead of the weekend's Premier League clash with Sunderland as record signing Andre Ayew returned to training after a long spell on the sidelines.
The Ghana international, who signed from Swansea City for £20.5million in the summer before suffering a thigh injury on his league debut, joined the likes of Dimitri Payet and youngster Reece Oxford at the club's Rush Green training ground.
Payet, in particular, appeared in high spirits as he joked around with players including captain Mark Noble who dropped to his knees at one point and adopted a praying position in front of the mercurial France playmaker.
