ALVISE CAGNAZZO: Winning the Europa League is EVERYTHING for Juventus. A year without Champions League football would be a financial disaster and could see Premier League targets Dusan Vlahovic and Adrien Rabiot leave this summer

Without European football, Juventus risk financial ruin and losing their best players.

Failing to qualify for the Champions League would see them miss out on around €40m (£36m), and would have to be added to the absence of home game receipts and victory bonuses.

Without these financial resources it will be impossible to retain the best players who will inevitably be attracted by offers from the Premier League.

There are likely to be no guarantees that the top players will stay at the end of the season, and this creates many doubts among the fans who fear for the team's future ambitions on the pitch.
