Alexandre Lacazette would have missed most aspects of being on a football pitch, but scars and scratches won't have been one of them.
The Frenchman marked his comeback on Sunday from a knee injury with an 89th-minute penalty in Arsenal's 3-0 victory over struggling Stoke.
Lacazette, who was making his first appearances since Arsenal were beaten in February's North London derby with Tottenham, came on as a 61st-minute substitute and left the Emirates Stadium pitch a happy man as he followed up Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's brace.
Following victory in an encounter that was far from straight-forward for Arsene Wenger's men, Lacazette provided yet more evidence that it was far from a walk in the park for him either.
