Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has cleared a major hurdle on his comeback from serious injury and is on course to resume full training at the end of February.
The Liverpool midfielder has been out since April when he suffered ruptures to his cruciate, medial and lateral ligaments in his right knee during the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Roma; the injury was further complicated as he damaged tendons in his hamstring.
It had initially been indicated that Oxlade-Chamberlain would require 12 months on the sidelines to recover, with Jurgen Klopp saying in July that this season was going to be 'all about recovery' for the England international.
