Adam Ounas believes Algeria’s overwhelming performance against Tanzania follows the confidence Djamel Belmadi has in them.
Belmadi left many of his usual starters on the bench and handed chances to some of his fringe players who have had limited playing time in the competition, including the Napoli forward.
Ounas impressed by scoring his first goals for the Desert Foxes to help them secure a 3-0 victory over Tanzania on Monday night.
“Our manager gave us a shout of confidence and in the end we scored three goals tonight,” Ounas said in a pre-match press conference.
