A third Brighton player has tested positive for coronavirus, one day before Premier League clubs will discuss their Project Restart plan.

Sky Sports News presenter Jim White announced the news on Sunday morning, but as Sportsmail revealed in April, it should not derail plans for Project Restart ahead of the crucial meeting between Premier League clubs on Monday.

Brighton revealed on April 2 that a second unnamed player had tested positive for COVID-19, a week after Brighton first revealed that one of their playing squad had fallen victim to the pandemic.
