Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has insisted he is happy with his squad heading into the Premier League season, despite the club's failure to meet his transfer demands.
After signing Brazil international Fred, Portuguese full-back Diogo Dalot and reserve goalkeeper Lee Grant, Mourinho wanted a further two recruits but none arrived before Thursday's deadline.
Toby Alderweireld, Willian, Harry Maguire, Ivan Perisic, Jerome Boateng and Diego Godin were linked with moves to Old Trafford, though no deals materialised prior to Friday's Premier League opener against Leicester City.
The lack of new faces over the summer has been the source of Mourinho's frustration during pre-season – a feeling also shared by Alexis Sanchez.
