PORTLAND -- The Phoenix Suns, a team long since eliminated from playoff contention, didn’t look particularly interested in exerting much effort in the first quarter of Saturday night’s game at the Moda Center, a oddity the Trail Blazers were more than happy to take advantage of. But that malaise wouldn’t last, as the play of the Phoenix bench would get the road team back contention in the second half.
Though the Trail Blazers were always able to answer, and would eventually go on to defeat the Suns 130-117 in front of a crowd of 18,915 Saturday night at the Moda Center.
