Portland Trail Blazers guard Scoot Henderson probably won’t play against the LA Clippers Tuesday due to his left quad contusion, while Portland backup center Robert Williams III won’t travel with the team to Los Angeles because he’s still in concussion protocol.
Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups provided the injury updates to reporters at the practice facility Monday morning.
Billups revealed that Henderson underwent an MRI Sunday to assess the left quad contusion he sustained against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Nov. 20. Billups said the results came back positive, showing nothing more serious than the initial diagnosis of the contusion.
