The Portland Trail Blazers are entering their first full offseason with Damian Lillard off the team.
With a few pieces left behind from the aftermath of the Lillard trade, Bleacher Report’s Grant Hughes mentions that the biggest offseason storyline for Portland will be whether they fully commit to the rebuild.
The Blazers have Jerami Grant still on the team after trading for him during the 2022 offseason, and a veteran from the Lillard trade in Malcolm Brogdon who still have significant money left on their contracts.
Clearly, the Blazers will begin the offseason with a handful of players who don’t typically appear on rebuilding, asset-obsessed teams.
