Former Portland Trail Blazers player Will Barton announced his retirement from professional basketball on Wednesday.
The 34-year-old Barton played 11 seasons in the NBA, including his first two and a half with the Blazers from 2012-2015. The 6-foot-5 guard spent time with four NBA teams over his career, making his biggest impact during an eight-season tenure with the Denver Nuggets. He last played in the NBA during the 2022-23 season with the Toronto Raptors.
This past season, Barton played for the Guangdong Southern Tigers in the Chinese Basketball Association.
