With the Portland Trail Blazers on an unexpected three-game winning streak, the makeup of their roster has been the talk of the town. A couple of their traditional stalwarts—Deandre Ayton and Anfernee Simons—have been largely absent for the victories. Several young players—including Dalano Banton, Shaedon Sharpe, and Toumani Camara—have stepped to the fore.
These new developments have brought equal parts of hope and questioning to the Portland faithful, as evidenced by this Blazer’s Edge Mailbag question, one of several of its ilk this week.
Dave,
Can you share why we don’t play with the energetic attack we’ve shown this week when everybody is healthy?
