Throughout the years, there have been plenty of players who Blazers fans have had extra disdain for: during the Drexler era, it might have been Michael Jordan. During the late 90s and beyond, it might have been Kobe Bryant. More recently, it may be easy to root against Gary Payton II after signing in Portland, only to be traded back to Golden State who then accused the Portland of failing to disclose injuries to Payton that led him to fail a physical.
We saw last night that Portland has no problem getting chippy, and Dillon Brooks tried staring down Sheadon Sharpe late in the fourth before Anfernee Simons and others came to Sharpe’s defense.
